There is a blog post about the event on the main SLANZA blog, and there’ll be more information and photos in the next issue of Collected which is due out this month.
Posters from each of the region were displayed at the centre – here is a copy of ours. Thank you to those who contributed ideas and words for the poster.

Our AGM will be held on Wednesday 23rd June 2010 at Intermediate Normal School Library, South Street, P.N.

Hi everyone,
So far I have only had one application for a free registration to attend the SLANZA conference to be held at Rangi Ruru Girls’ School, Christchurch from Monday 28 September to Wednesday 30 September 2009.
Why don’t you apply?
Early bird registration is $350 so that would be a big saving and make attending possible!
Come on everyone – I hope we can hold a draw amongst our members. I don’t really want to go back to National Executive and say that only one member was interested!
Email me with your request asap.
Pat
Do you want to go the the SLANZA Conference but don’t know where the money is going to come from?
Well, here’s what you can do – apply for one of the two ‘free’ registrations that Central has on offer.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join with your other library colleagues for some fun and inspiration (via PD)!
Not sure where or when Conference is?
It is being held at Rangi Ruru Girls’ School in Christchurch from Monday 28 to Wednesday 30 September 2009.
Looking forward to seeing you all there.
